About DM

The Rutgers University Dance Marathon is a student-run philanthropic event that unites the Rutgers community in an effort to raise money and increase awareness for Embrace Kids Foundation. It is a university-wide tradition comprised of volunteers who champion a commitment to service, leadership development and fun. It’s all FOR THE KIDS!

Meet Our Kids

The RU4Kids Program is a joint program between Embrace Kids and RUDM that connects student organizations with patient families. The goal of RU4Kids is for the college students to provide comfort, friendly faces, and fun during trying times. Students visit the children during treatment and engage them with fun activities. Additionally, students and families meet outside of treatment for parties, sporting events, and movies! The students make a family’s time through treatment much easier by being a fun escape during a difficult journey. This program cultivates friendships and a priceless bond between the students and families.

Our Embrace Kids Events

Phi Chi Theta is an avid supporter of Embrace Kids as we host events throughout the year to directly raise funds for the kids. Some annual events we have are a coffeehouse fundraiser, bake sales, and canning events. Philanthropy is a big part of who we are and we strive to spread awareness and make a change. Join us, by learning more about DM or donating down below- together we can make a difference.
